Here is some information about Hydro-Québec’s educational activities.

As Teacher Appreciation Week draws to a close, we take this opportunity to thank you for your invaluable contribution in shaping the adults of tomorrow.

AQEP conference: Baie-James trip winner!

Jessica Landry, of Tournesol elementary school in Longueuil, is the delighted winner of a trip for two to Baie-James (James Bay).

Her entry form was drawn in the Hydro-Québec contest held at the Association québécoise des enseignantes et des enseignants du primaire conference in Drummondville last December 1 and 2.

Eco-Energy Squad kit available again!

The Eco-Energy Squad kit for grades 5 and 6 is back in stock.

Kids will enjoy playing the role of cub reporters doing investigative reports on energy issues and the environment.

You can order the free kit on the teachers’ Web page. Please note that only requests from Québec elementary school teachers will be processed.

This spring, bring your class to see the regional finals of the Hydro-Québec Science Fair. You’ll discover inspirational science projects by creative kids.

Drop by the Hydro-Québec stand at the 22nd conference of the Alliance des professeures et professeurs de Montréal at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, March 30 and 31.

We’ll also be attending the 35th conference of the Association québécoise des utilisateurs d’outils technologiques à des fins pédagogiques et sociales at the Hilton and Delta hotels in the city of Québec, April 11, 12 and 13.
