AQEP conference: Baie-James trip winner!

Jessica Landry, of Tournesol elementary school in Longueuil, is the delighted winner of a trip for two to Baie-James (James Bay).

Her entry form was drawn in the Hydro-Québec contest held at the Association québécoise des enseignantes et des enseignants du primaire conference in Drummondville last December 1 and 2.

Eco-Energy Squad kit available again!

The Eco-Energy Squad kit for grades 5 and 6 is back in stock.

Kids will enjoy playing the role of cub reporters doing investigative reports on energy issues and the environment.

You can order the free kit on the teachers’ Web page. Please note that only requests from Québec elementary school teachers will be processed.

Did you know?

Plugged-in electronics draw power, even when they’re off or in standby mode. This phantom power can account for 5% to 10% of household electricity costs.

Help your students gain a better understanding of home electricity use with our interactive phantom power calculator.
